What we expect

With commitment, independence, reliability as well as a good demeanour and communication skills, you will fulfil the important personal requirements for the Technical Centre, our career-oriented internship for school students with a general qualification for university entrance.

Three to six months in the company – including induction training and working on various defined topics – will give you an initial insight into a technology company. Your first-hand work experience will allow you to choose the appropriate course of study from the STEM subject areas and therefore make groundbreaking decisions and set the appropriate course for your choice of study and future career. It goes without saying that you will be guided and supported by experienced colleagues with a STEM background during your internship. In addition, you will receive remuneration during your internship.

• Orientation within the STEM subjects in order to make a better decision regarding training/studying/working life
• The opportunity to ask experienced employees (engineers, HR department) questions about studying, everyday working life and starting a career.
• Interaction with young engineering and IT employees who have just completed their training or degree course and can give you useful tips
• The opportunity to gain insights into a company (structure, processes, teams, activities etc.) before your vocational or university training

Applicants can spend time in the Technical Centre between June and October  – depending on the date of their school-leaving examinations and personal plans. The duration is flexible and is based on when your training or degree course is likely to start.
