Technical Centre and Take advantage of the time between obtaining your general qualification for university entrance and embarking on your degree course to gain an effective insight into your professional future! Many former science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) students work at ESG. You are well suited to an internship for school students in our high-tech company if you have an interest in science and technology and good grades in mathematics, physics and information technology.
What we expect
With commitment, independence, reliability as well as a good demeanour and communication skills, you will fulfil the important personal requirements for the Technical Centre, our career-oriented internship for school students with a general qualification for university entrance.
What we offer
Three to six months in the company – including induction training and working on various defined topics – will give you an initial insight into a technology company. Your first-hand work experience will allow you to choose the appropriate course of study from the STEM subject areas and therefore make groundbreaking decisions and set the appropriate course for your choice of study and future career. It goes without saying that you will be guided and supported by experienced colleagues with a STEM background during your internship. In addition, you will receive remuneration during your internship.

When you can start
Applicants can spend time in the Technical Centre between June and October – depending on the date of their school-leaving examinations and personal plans. The duration is flexible and is based on when your training or degree course is likely to start.
