With targeted, systematic research & technology and close consideration of required key technologies, ESG prepares the development of future capabilities and solutions. It supports this with continuous technology monitoring and its evaluation, studies, operational concepts and analyses, roadmapping as well as committee work and standardisation.
Research and technology ranges from establishing a fundamental understanding of technology to technology empowerment. A demonstrator (proof of concept) is used to prove the suitability of the technology.
